Ubiquitylation features

Ubiquitylation site

Ubiquitylation type Multiple ubiquitylation
Features Ubiquitylation of TRE17 is promoted by calcium/calmodulin binding. Treatment with the CaM inhibitor W7 reduces levels of TRE17 monoubiquitylation. The calcium ionophore A23187 induces accumulation of multi-ubiquitylated TRE17 forms. The effect of A23187 is attenuated in CaM binding-deficient mutants of TRE17.

Ubiquitylation/deubiquitylation machinery

E2 Not determined
E3 Not determined
E4/AP Not determined
DUB TRE17
Comments TRE17 promotes its own deubiquitylation in vivo.
